A individual accused with stalking Kate McCann reportedly left her a voicemail message which questioned: "imagine I am Madeleine?"
The defendant, 24, who a jury heard has consistently asserted she was the disappeared Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are facing charges accused with stalking Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February the current year.
On Monday, Leicester Crown Court learned phone records and information obtained from phones recorded Ms Wandelt consistently asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test during that period.
Madeleine's vanishing in 2007 - at the age of three during a trip in Portugal - is among the most covered missing child cases and is still open.
One phone message, presented in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I realize I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine had been, but I believe what I feel."
While another instance of Ms Wandelt's monologues with Mrs McCann's answerphone said: "Suppose there is a small chance that I am she? What happens next? Isn't that important for you?"
"I do not need money, I maintain a existence here in Poland, I just want to understand," the message continued.
The jury was advised that by means of emails, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, transmitted early photographs to her phone in a effort to demonstrate a resemblance to Mrs McCann's disappeared daughter, and asserted to have "recollections" from a childhood with the McCanns.
The investigator, an investigator with the police force who collated the data, told the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.
Ms Wandelt furthermore reached out to acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the call data.
On 9 October 2024, Gerry McCann answered a communication from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, stating she had "incorrect contact information."
On that occasion Ms Wandelt deposited a voicemail on Mrs McCann's recording declaring "I will continue and I plan to establish my claim."
The court learned the co-defendant developed a association via internet with Ms Wandelt before joining her on a visit to the McCanns' property in that area in last December.
Call logs showed Mrs Spragg had communicated through WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to express the news outlets had depicted Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she should be treated respectfully in the time before the trip to Rothley, that area, in last December.
The court was told communications between the two defendants, in that autumn, planning endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her garbage or from utensils at a dining venue.
"We need to take action," the co-defendant advised Ms Wandelt.
On the occasion of the visit to their residence, the defendant transmitted a communication which stated: "We are sat outside the McCanns' home with our lights out resembling investigators. I desired to achieve this with someone else I didn't imagine I would be involved in this with the McCanns."
The case continues.
