'Living a Nightmare': Families of Missing Teens Await Information After Alpine Fire

The relatives of teenagers lost after a deadly fire at a bar in a Switzerland's winter destination are facing an excruciating wait for answers and appealing for information about their children publicly.

The blaze devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Circulated video reveal the ceiling being engulfed in flames as beverages with sparklers are held aloft.

Authorities have warned that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the fatalities of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of four dozen individuals and hurt another over a hundred. Officials stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been accounted for, with work continuing to identify the remaining few.

In the interim, relatives have been using online platforms to appeal for clues about their missing relatives who were at the bar that evening.

Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For

The fate of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are still unconfirmed, according to an heartfelt request from his family.
