Relief Operations Seen as Inadequate

Groups have increased distribution of tents, bedding and garments since the truce started, but they stress there is remains not enough aid getting in.

"Agencies are striving constantly to provide that relief and to hand it out, but the magnitude of the needs is so immense that we still have thousands of individuals and minors who are truly suffering nightly," stated one spokesperson.

Ongoing Concerns and Agreement Terms

The next stage of the truce includes plans for the reconstruction of Gaza, along with future administration, the pullback of military forces, and other conditions.

Humanitarian bodies have highlighted the imperative for "expanded and ongoing aid to respond to urgent and future needs."

The hostilities was initiated by an offensive in October 2023. Subsequent campaigns have caused a high number of lives lost in the territory, as per medical figures.
