Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

This young athlete boasts considerable social media audience

The young golfer will have numerous prominent backers when she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she mentioned.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"He essentially advised me to compete and relax," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with world affairs, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

However she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to compete, have fun, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that her participation helps introduce the sport to wider groups, particularly reaching youth audiences.

The social media influencer maintains substantial online presence and just introduced her own clothing and lifestyle label.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
