Two Men Face Charges Regarding Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Assault

Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

This legal action stems from an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their luggage taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.

A toddler was one of the people hurt during the incident. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – led to disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
